67 Chevelle plant is a spiderplant and has no business being planted under water. What are these keepers thinking.
LOL when does LOGIC come into play....You buy a plant IN a tube that doesnt have any water in it, and you expect it to grow UNDER water, lol.
btw everytime I see a customer walking about with one of those tubes in their basket, I whisper to them "That plants going to DIE"
petco/petsmart do sell some fully aquatic plants you just have to know what you're looking for(ive seen many species of anubias in tubes). Box stores aren't the only ones that has plants for sale that are not fully aquatic but are submerged in water, mom and pop pet stores around me do it too.
Everybody makes mistakes and we all come here to learn so try and not be so harsh please.

jasonG75 said:The Rhimozode (sp) has to be submerged. Yeap everyone makes mistakes, but there are some things that are just common sense, right? If it isn't submerged it isnt aquatic. RULE of thumb (in most cases) if it isnt in a tank for sell, I wouldnt touch it, unless it was one of them bulb packages. 20% of the plants that are in the tanks are ALSO not aquatic.
You do realize that many, if not most aquatic plant species can and do grow emersed, right?
That's not a very good rule of thumb.
There are some aquatic plants in the tubes at one of my local petsmart stores, but most are not.
