Here's the kicker - it can't be green.

After a bit of searching, I seem limited to only Blyxa japonica so far. Just wondering if I have more options.

blyxa is green under normal light, when you move it to a high tech setup then it will start gaining nice bronze color. Blyxa aubertii on the other hand normally is a bronze/green color but it gets huge. One of mine is about 20" tall

You can look into micro tenellus which also under medium light gets nice and bronze. There arnt that many grassy like plants out there that are not green.
