I have a 10 gallon tank that is currently occupied by a blue eye, an endler (guppy) and 3 bumblebee gobies. They are currently quite happy and yes the tank is slightly brackish. Right now I have 2 pieces of driftwood and some small pebbles as decoration. I am considering changing the setup of the tank and I was curious as to what fish would be appropriate for a 10 gallon tank. I am VERY attached to the bumblebee gobies so I prefer that they stay, but the blue eye and endler I could move. I was looking at a mudskipper but I've gotten some conflicting information as usual so if anyone has some sound advice on keeping mudskippers it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Thank you for your suggestions and insight. What would be considered an appropriate tank size for a mudskipper? I was thinking of upgrading my tank but I can't upgrade to much because I'm in an apartment and already have a couple other tanks. I like the crab idea also. I hadn't even thought about that. My husband had some in his tank but they were always escaping. Is there a remedy for that? I also saw something on mosquito fish. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with those? Thanks again for the help!

Crabs will only escape if given the chance, just have a secure glass lid. Mudskippers need about 20G each btw. and you need to provide a beach for them to bask.

I would think you could house a single mudskipper in a 30, This would allow for swimming room as well as an area for dry land. You could Fasten some plexi glass over the water with a ramp going into the water to give the little guy the full tanks width for swimming plus about half the tank for dry land.. does that make sense?
