sun cat okay for ponds

Would a sun catfish survive in a pond? I in western Washington state. The cooler and rainier side of the state.

How cold does it get in winter? Is it deep enough to not completely freeze?

Sun cats (Horabagrus brachysoma) should not be in water colder than the low 70's.
