I have this 10G planted tank and a couple of months
back I bought about 70 ghost shrimp to put it in.

I just like the little suckers a lot, they are pretty
funny to watch and interesting too, especially
when they get bigger.

The other day when I when to feed my fish, I noticed 3 shrimps laying on top of a plant (don't know the name, but looks like an umbrella), right on top of the water. I thought they were dead so I tried to move it and it jumped out of reach and fell right back in the water. I was like Smart Little Suckers!!!

so what was it doing? sun tanning of the tank's light?
Or just playing dead? :thud:

Might have been sleeping, i've seen mine sit still for a while from time to time.

I found them standing still and cleaning themselves when i came home today, just the little eating legs were moving, carefully using the claws on the end to scrape off whatever gunk was in the various cracks of their bodies.
