Super red empress male's colors

Does anyone have a pic of their own male super red empress in their tanks to post?

I see all these colorful pics from websites. Then all of the males I see do not come even close. So I am wondering if I should raise some or not.

Well, it takes a while for a juvie male to color up. Also, if the fish is stressed (ie- in a pet store) it will not be showing its best colors. Having lots of females around helps as well. Feeding a really high quality food like NLS helps bring out colors.



Also, I'm not sure what a "super" red empress is. I've only ever heard of/seen a regular red empress.

I am fully aware of all pertinen facts.

They are normally the pic of hormonized fish. As such they are very misleading.
