I've noticed that every new tiger shrimp that I've introduced to my RCS/tiger shrimp tank immediately run to a shed exoskeleton. In the past I've had problems with female tigers dying and I'm wondering, if the cause of death is problematic molting/mineral deficiency, whether you guys supplement your shrimp tanks with anything other than cuttle bones.

I have birds so I have mineral blocks handy, could I add some of those too?

I do not supplement anything. What is your ph and water parameters? Are the tiger shrimp being shipped or purchased locally? How are you acclimating them?

My husband bought 11 cherry shrimp and after the first night they molted then after the water change a couple of days ago they molted to.
