Supreme Aquamaster filters

More years ago than I'll admit I used the Supreme Aquamaster with the motor jutting out the top. Of course it's not available any more.
I see no mention of the HOB Aquamasters in this forum or, others.
Does anyone have any experience with them????

They have the new Aquamaters available. The closest I have come to them is the Skilter which is based on them which did not work very good as a protein skimmer IMO. This was quite a few years ago when they first came out-perhaps the design has improved?

I remember using some old ones like you mentioned at the store I worked at in the late eighties, but I do not recall if they were Aquamasters or not.
