Don't know if you've seen this. I was looking around at photos and found this on someone's blog.
Someone photographed a black swan feeding goldfish on a lake in Hangzhou, China.

I found this photo at another site about the same report. But it's an obvious fake.

As you can see, I've highlighted the spots where there are 4 copies of the exact same fish. Someone did a lousy job of photoshopping that picture.

So... this makes me wonder if the first photo is credible. Still.. would be interesting.

lol, i didnt even notice that until you pointed it out. does that mean the first one is real. or all they all fake?

I have no idea. I was going to post the first one as one of those, "oh, isn't that cute?" kind of things. But I clicked around first to see what other sites carried the news report. That's how I found the second photo which was labeled the same... and it mentioned the same city in China.

Could be the first one is real... don't know. The whole thing could be a spoof.

As for plausibilitly... well I had a blue/gold macaw that fed her chicken pieces to our new kitten. So I don't find the possibility of a swan feeding some fish all that strange. This lake in China is problably full of swans who are around people a lot. And they see people feeding fish all the time. Who knows.

My guess would be that the swan and koi just happened to be going for the same morsel of food that was tossed into the water..... although, as a toddler, I was nursed by a wild bear who happened to lose her cub in a forest fire. In the Shoshoni tribe I'm now known as 'Guzzles bear milk.'

Yes.. that does look like a fake eye on the yellow fish. I think Lupin is right.

I ran into the duckling feeding koi video last night. Made me think of this thread again so I just dug it up, then I saw that same video was already posted here. So you're getting this video instead...
