Hello
I have a 20G High, Fish Only tank. I want to switch to canister. I don’t like the Emperor 280. It just puts to many bubbles in the tank. The water level is very high almost to the black plastic.
What canister do you recommend? I don’t like the Eheim Classic it looks like a pain to clean being it does not have canisters.

I would recommend an ecco-eheim. I use it (2236) in 5 of my 20 to 29 gallon tanks - here's a link:

Thanks for the replies, still not sure what to do. For sure I am going to switch. I know I will upgrade one day. I was looking into the Fluval 305, gives me room to grow and I can control the flow for the 20G. Also the Eheim Pro 3 2017 they are in the same price range and same control of flow. I can later grow to double the tank size with out switching filter. What do you all think? Other options?

If your going to spend over $200 anyway, might as well get your moneys worth. As far as power that is why it has 2 diffusers you can point at the corner or install a spray bar that really sprays. As far as the size its just more water volume for your tank about 4X the Fluval 405, I know I own one and will be selling it shortly (Fluval 404).

$200 is to much already. I am pushing it spending 160 that is what the Pro3 goes for and 149 for the Fluval 305 on Ebay. I am leaning toward the Fluval just becouse you can get the parts and filter media local. I know the Eheim is better (by what people say) but not much info on the Pro3 also the Pro2 is to expensive. The classic everyone loves but no cansiter = mess.

149.00 is TOOOO much for a fluval 305
