Hello All. I Currently have some Amazon Sword plants in my 55 and I would like to get some clown loaches for the tank. Would the loaches damage the plants at all? I once had some potted plants with large leaves similar to my swords, and the syn. catfish I had ate those leaves completely. Will that happen with clown loaches? Thanks

Well I've never kept clown loaches myself, but I've never heard of clowns or any other loaches, for that matter, eating plants. HTH
I have a well planted tank with 2 big clown loaches, not problems here. They root around the gravel but never bothered the plants

Same here, two huge Clowns. The most trouble they cause it uprooting plants. Not a big deal though. They will help control your snail population.
my two clowns are to busy tormenting each other to root up or eat plants. My swordtails, however, pick algae off the big leaves all day, but they have caused no damage.
