Hi there,
I was interested in maybe getting about 5 of these guys at some point in the near future, and was curious about how competitive they were for food.
I understand that there are many different species being sold as 'upside down catfish', but there is a store by me that looks to have the real 'Synodontis nigriventris'.
I am asking if they are competitive for food because I was thinking about putting them together with my shoal of of 5 Yoyo Botia (which are quite greedy). I think that both their water parameters overlap enough. These would be housed in a 40G tank with malaysian driftwood and plants.
Any thoughts, info, or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
I could keep them separate, but I would like to know if they are greedy at feeding time (becoming somewhat aggressive) and also if anyone knows about housing them with another shoal of a different species of fish.
Thank you...
