I always had a plan of having a 55 gallon lake Tanginyka tank and a 29 gallon planted tank with amano shrimp. I actually have both tanks just haven't set up the 55 yet. But I have a kid on the way and know time will be hard to come by when the baby is born. So I am leaning towards just moving over all my stock and plants into the 55 and selling the 29. It's the bigger tank I want without needing to clean 2 tanks.
My problem now is I have already owned a pair of syno petricola that are starting to grow now. They are about as big as the amano shrimp maybe a tad larger. AQ advisor warned they might start eating amano shrimp and nerites. Is this true has anyone put adult synodontic petricola in with amano shrimp or nerite snails and had missing inverts?
