One of my labs has had his tail fin and part of histail area completely eaten off. I put him in a hospital tank with xtra Stress Coat and Melafix. What else can I do?

How long have you had him in the QT? Give it some time and see if it starts to heal. If not then you will want to take further actions. You don't want to try and overdo it or the added stress will be bad for em.

Be prepared to euthanize if needed. It is sad but often with such a serious wound it is a must. There should be numerous threads on humane ways to do it if you do a search.

Something like melafix (tea tree oil) may help to fight off infection.
