I guess it took about two months. The ammonia went away pretty fast but the nitrites took forever to go down. I went to the LFS and picked up 6 harlequin rasboras. They are darting around the tank and swimming as a school; they are really neat to watch!

All of my plants have lived so far except one anubias that rotted. I think I may have tied it down too tight, but who knows.

I may go back to the LFS today and pick up 5 khuli loaches and a gourami. I plan on getting 3 more harlequin rasboras as well. How stocked do you think I am after I get these remaining fish? I have a 30gal.

9 Harlies sound good for a 30g, you could probably do more, but in my experience they are very active and less is more.

You could do more Kuhli loaches, unless you have something else planned for the bottom?

Which Gourami are you getting? There are several nice options.

I just got back from the LFS. I got a honey gourami, 5 kuhlis, and 3 more harlies. I wanted a bristle-nose pleco for the bottom as well, but the fish guy recommended a clown pleco or rubber-lip pleco instead because the bristle-nose get a tad to big. I will probably get a clown pleco, but I'm going to wait a bit.

dont rush and add things in there too quickly. the tank will have to get use to the bioload of the 9 harlies... now adding more fish in will confuse it and watch out for the ammonia level to explode.

You could do a Bristlenose Pleco no problem. It only gets about an inch to an inch and half bigger then a clown.

I know you are supposed to add slowly even after a fishless cycle, but I am pretty confident that the bacteria can handle it. Anyhow the fish are already in, but I will make sure to keep a close eye on the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.
