I have 6 Cherry Barbs in my 20 gallon high tank. I would like to add some other types of fish, but I have heard conflicting reports about the CBs. Some say they are peaceful fish and ignore the others in their tank. Others say that they are fin nippers. Mine are very lively and healthy. I would hate to add a variety of fish that will be harmed or that will harm the cherry barbs. Would love to hear who you keep with your CBs.

They're definitely not the worst offenders out there, and with 6 or so should really only go after each other (if at all). At least that is my experience, although I have only had them with other active fish (rasboras and loaches).
