i have a ninety gallon tank with two stressed out barracuda and eight exodon tetras... should i load the tank with exodons and put the cudas in another tank or drop the exodons into a smaller tank and get some variations of many fish. everyone i've talk to says there are no tankmates for exodons, i find that hard to believe.

Hello I to keep Exodons, I have tried keeping community fish and you just can not beat the behavior of the exodons. But to answer your question, nothing else can really tolerate the scale eating and ramming into that your exo’s will always do. I have a 125 gallon 6 foot tank and have been able to keep 4 red belly piranhas and a kuhli loach with my 14 exodons. The only advice I can give is the fish would have to be very aggressive, have no big fins to be nipped, or be a SLOW bottom dweller. I think the loach is OK because he moves fairly slow (most of the time) and stays on the bottom. The Exo’s do not tend to mind fish that stay on the bottom.
