tank on stand question

Hi, i got my 40 on a stand. However the board that the tank itself sits on is offset to one side of the tank. So basically theres a 1/4" part of the tank that is not on the board.

Should i drain a bunch of water out of the tank and try to slide it over?

As long as the water level appears even (which means the tank is pretty level) then you shouldn't have a problem. Thats my opinion anyway.
