I got a tank that is 24" wide, 16" high and 12" front to back. A website calcualtor says this is a 20 gallon. Is this referred to as a 20 long?

Any recommendations for a lighting canopy for this. I went through the Dr. Fosters catalog. Lots of choices. I would like to spend $50-65. Am I nuts???

the goal is to get 2wpg on your hoods.. if you're going for a planted tank then i'd get the best you can afford ...

i run a 15 watt on my 20 long with some corkscrew val, hygro, anubias nana and some hornwort (sp?) but they're all low light plants and I heavily fert them and have co2.

Fair to say that there is a major difference between the high and long for 15W of light?
