tank too small?

Hi. I am interested in getting 1-2 blood parrot fish. I'm pretty sure the ones at my lfs store are not dyed. Is 29g too small for 1 blood parrot? I know they grow big but do they grow slow or fast? Eventually I hope to get a bigger tank.

Yes it is too small. Your blood parrot will need a 55 gallon tank and while your 29 gallon would hold one for a little while it would be better to just start with the right size tank.
