I would assume so, with a good cleaning, but I thought I might as well ask. I'm picking up a 35g tank today with a light/hood, a screen top, and a heat lamp for $35. She said it was used for a turtle and was taken apart 3 weeks ago. She said she cleaned it, so I'm gonna see how clean it is today when I pick it up later.

Make sure it is a fish tank, and not a turtle tank (the glass is thinner).

If it is a regular fish tank, you can just wash it in water with a little bleach. Re-wash very well with water with a little bit of extra Prime. Dry it and re-fill and you ready to go.
