Varying opinions on this:I thought the goal was to be around 76-77. Not right?
- lower temp = more O2 = better for breathing, better health (temp within tropical range, of course...)
- higher temp = higher metabolism = quicker growth, etc. (all else being equal...)
I like to follow the conservative, middle of the range, 77 - 79 goal. This allow *some* leeway if heaters fail on a cold day, or if a heatwave strikes. Optimum? no. Safer? yes
