Test Kits?

Does anyone have any experience with the reliability and accuracy of Seachem's nitrAte and iron test kits? I'm kind of wary of iron test kits, as most of the ones on the market cannot be relied on too much. However, what about the nitrAte test kit?

Also, does anyone have experience with AP (Aquarium Pharmaceuticals) gH test kit?

I'm looking for accuracy, reliability and perhaps ease of use (I actually don't mind mixing dozens of chemicals, it just adds to the fun )

I've tried a lot of different test kits, but I still think LaMotte are the best by far. They cost more, but IMO they are well worth it. And if you find testing "fun", then you will really like the LaMotte kits. You'll feel like you're in a testing lab.

I'm using Aquarium Pharmaceutical test kits. I test for GH, KH, PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrates. They are definitely reliable kits. My local LFS highly recommends them.

I usually use Nutrafin kits. I really like them because the reagents are liquid (no tablets to crush), results are easy to read (large difference in colour between levels) and they last quite a long time. Their NO3 kit is great - some kits require you to crush a tablet, put it in the vial, cover, and shake for ages. Theirs requires a few drops from each of three bottles, and gives results quickly without making me tired from all that shaking .

right now I am using Aquarium Pharmaceutical, and they seam to be good, and I will probably stay with them since all the test tubs are the same size, that way I can reuse them and I don't have to remember which tub goes with which test.
