OKay people this may seem stupid but here goes. I know that soap is BAD!!!!!!!!!! But when i complete my testing what do u wash your test tubes with, anything-since there are chemicals at work.??
I have been simply rinsing them out with water, but did not know if anything else needed to be done.

Brian

just rinse well

i would be more hesistant to mix soap (which contains chemicals itself) with the test chemicals

Just rinse out well. That's all I do. No special technique needed!

If they get REALY NASTY for some reason (witch should nver happen) you can bleach them with a 10% bleach solution. Soak them for 5 min in the solution and then rinse them and let them air dry.
