Tetras in a 10g?

Most tetras will work as long as they are small enough. Stay away from the bigger species of tetras such as the Buenos Aires tetras or the Congo tetras. Generally they grow way too large for a ten gallon tank. Of course make sure you are adding them to a fully cycled tank. If the tank is just cycled then add just a few at a time. You may see a small spike in the readings in your water for a short time but it should be short lived. Of course this can be controlled with adequate water changes.

Please keep us updated as to what you decide to do.
