I'm looking to buy somewhere between 100-150lbs of holey limestone rock. I live in oklahoma and I'm willing to travel to texas to pick up a couple boxes worth. Prefer differt sizes, will be stocking a 125 gal. cichlid tank. I can get it locally for $1.25 per pound,so I'm looking to get a better price from the "wholesaler". Or if someone could point me in the right direction to go and dig the stuff up myself I'd really appreciate it. I heard it's all over the place in texas hill country? Sure. Anywhere starting from just north of Austin, down through San Marcos towards San Antonio it is all over the place.
I could show you fields of it with more rock than you could move in a lifetime.
The problem is searching through it all to find a good piece that is the right size, general shape, and with a lot of holes in it. But it is plentiful.
