I want to take a moment to thank AC for all the knowledge that I have gained from the membership at this site. From my disastrous beginnings I dove into this site desperately seeking help and that's exactly what I got from many of you. I felt like I had a wide cross section of folks from around the globe with whom I could commiserate with and learn from. Some of you I have met and others I have traded plants and shrimp with. Some of you have given to me when I was in need. Some of you have received from me which I was glad to do. One of you even came to my house to deliver a free tank I had to a new home even further away. How cool is that? This site has inspired me to take better pictures of my tanks. My love of photography has grown. Then I was stricken with MTS. It was a long road to recovery but thankfully I am over it now and down to my last tank. I love the few fish I have left and the plants that took over do well enough. I'm down to one Koi Angel, and SAE, one feisty Harlequin Raspbora* and a Panda Cory. The tank is filled with plants and driftwood, shrimp and snails. I may be looking for a home for them in a year or so but I know some resources for rehoming them. I miss this place sometimes... but then... just when you least expect it some bu+#ead troll will elbow in RIGHT BOB?

Thank You:thumbsup:

LMAO! This site and it's members have a wealth of information, for sure. Being stricken with MTS isn't a bad thing at all. It is more of achieving a higher level of existence. All in all, it is a pattern many folks go through. I can't count how many folks I have seen over the years that go from a single tank to several, and on to dozens, myself included. Almost invariably you see them go back the other way, to just one or two, usually to concentrate on a specific goal such as planted or a bio-tope of unusual fish. A few will drop out for awhile and come back, others pass on to new hobbies or passions. I feel we have had a recent in-flux of new members that are a big help in giving advice.

BTW, my elbows are un-bruised.... :nilly:

Heya Ken, You're right on most counts. I never got into photography since I can't hold my hands still enough and being mildly colorblind doesn't help. We have certainly made some good friends through here over the years. Even managed to help each other in non-fish projects as well. Keep up the good work and great ideas.
