That Fish Place

I got a chance to visit www.thatfishplace.com yesterday. It was so cool. If you are ever near Lancaster, PA, I recommend stopping in. They have lots of fish, lots of fish stuff, and great prices. The staff there doesn’t bug you, but are there if you need any help. They are also very knowledgeable. I had to come on here and say how cool the place was because everyone I talk to looks at me like I’m nuts.

It's nice to see an lfs that actually has a positive side for a change!!!.

I'm probably going there on Saturday. Failing that I'll probably go for the customer appreciation sale at the end of next month.

I tend to have mixed experiences, it always seems so busy on weekends, and the fish frequently look a little stressed, I should think about going midweek sometimes.

I went on Monday afternoon, around 4, and the place was empty. It’s about an hour away from my place, so it’s not a LFS for me. I wish it was. If I ever decided to open a fish store, I would be going up there every week for supplies.

One other thing. When I was looking through the substrates and rocks, I couldn’t find any rock with string or even a single brick on a stick. I think someone needs to talk to the management about these great items.
