I have several filter that hang on the back and they all stop water flow after a short time. What is the secret to keep these things running? I check to see if anything is clogging them up but find nothing! :huh:
Take apart the powerhead that's running it, remove and impeller, and clean the housing. Sounds like you might have something stuck in there that's jamming up the impeller.
I have snails get into my AquaClear mini. I shut the filter off every day at feeding time and they get in there an jam up the impeller.....just enough that it can't start rotating
