I agree with the Harlequin rasboras. You could start with 7 or 8 if you plan to add bottom feeders. If you have other top feeders, maybe 6.

I would go with a pearl gourami, blues can be aggressive st times. I agree with gmh, get a 150 watt Visi-therm Stealth heater.
