I've always played PC. Now I've been thinking about buying a system. That's the reason I made the poll, just to have a perspective.

But since you mentioned PC. What is the best gaming PC out there? Does anybody happen to own a ALienware PC?

Im surprised the Wii is winning, but I did choose Wii too. I love how you control everything. Its awesome. Eventually all games will be like that I think.

Nintendo Wii

i have yet to know anyone that has bought a PS3. the PS3 is just a PS2 with some "upgraded" graphics and triple the price. The Wii and 360 are very different systems than GameCube and the original Xbox.

exactly jm.

the 360 but it has the RED RING OF DEATH!!!!!!! and who wants to play god of war 2 without a rumble feature!

my friend bought one, it is way way better for shooting games, exspecially when you can mod it to run at over 100 frames a second!!!

But i picked the 360 because it has made the most changes in the way of gaming. but the RED RING OF DEATH SUCKS!!!

sorry for double posting here, please delet it.

when you sre sitting there kickin but on gears of war, it freezes says software error, and the light circle goes red with one quarter missing, people have nightmares about it. it basicly means it is DEAD hence the name RED RING OF DEATH.But it is coverd under the warranty, but it takes a few months to get it fixed.

I waited in line to grab a Wii on a whim and it's definitely fun but considering that first person games tend to give me headaches, both in the sense that I'm awkward with the controls and that my head tends to ache after awhile, I'm not really loving it. Trauma Center is pretty fun, but I got tired of looking for tiny hidden objects in Zelda and I get light headed just watching my fiancee play Elebits. There are a few games out that look like they might be fun, but I'm pretty sure that our Wii will fill the same role that our Gamecube did; fun, silly multiplayer games for when we want to veg out in front of the TV together, but not terribly much more.

I'll probably pick up a 360 or PS3 at some point, but I'd like to wait and see how the games shake out first and wait for the prices to come down to something reasonable. I'm using the high prices as a great excuse to sit down and play a bunch of old PS2 games I never got around to playing. I'm more of a turn-based person or, if real time, easy person so I'm not seeing too much out for me right now.
