The silver ghost pearlscale angelfish spawned!!!

The female spawned yesterday, and I was able to get a few quick pics. The male wouldn't be still. He kept trying to bite my face, while I was taking pics.

Female is a standard silver ghost pearlscale ( with platinum gene)

Male is a gold marble superveil

I know the pics suck, but I had to take them fast, as I didn't want the parents to start to eat the eggs.

I took some pics when she first started laying them.

The whole back of the intake tube is covered with eggs now.

LOL!!! As for what the babies will be, I have NO Idea. I always try to keep them to 1 strain, but here is the story.

I will try to explain it as best I can. LOL!!

I had a pair of gold marble, and they have been together for around 1 year now.

I bought me a new pair of angelfish, silver ghost pearlscale female, and platinum pearlscale male. ( the male came in dead, so I had to order a surprise male angelfish).

While, I was waiting on the male to arrive, I kept the female in with the gold marble pair so she wouldn't get lonely or depressed, but the gold marble male kicked his wife to the curb, and mated with the new female.

After all this, a few days later, I received a stunning dd black superveil male angelfish. I tried putting the silver ghost female with the male, but they did not get along. Then I tried the gold marble female with him, and they hit it off.

So now, I have 2 odd pairs. LOL!!!

Gold marble male ( superveil) / Silver ghost pearlscale ( standard)

and

Gold marble female ( superveil) and dd black male ( superveil)

I bet the Gold marble female ( superveil) and dd black male ( superveil) will make some gorgeous dark marble babies for you! The other pair I have no clue. Guess you will find out fairly soon though! LOL
