The Transparent Tank!

I just had an idea! (And those are few and far between).


A 55 gallon tank. Black substrate and backing with creepy plants. Full of all transparent fish (and a few semi-transparents)!

But all I can think of now are:

Glass Catfish, Class fish & Ice Goby.

Neon Rasbora, Glolight Tetra, Ghost Knife Fish (I think too big for the tank) are all semi-transparent.

What else is there? I'm sure there are more transparent fish out there.

You could always add ghostshrimp to help cleanup..until some of the others get bigger and hungrier

and and... my angel fish is translucent... i don't remember what type it was... but its pure white and you can see its brain and stuff through it.... its weeeeeeird but pretty.

Nice idea. Pristellas are semi transparent. I've got a small group and they are peaceful but a lot more shy than my other tetras.

Are there any "transparent" plants? For rocks, quartz would work -- any other inert cyrstal.

As a contrast you could add rocks with large contents of black mica. Nice and shiny.

you could always get plastic plants and bleach them til they are semi transparent
