They can't be SERIOUS...CL Ad

Welcome to my world !! I am 20 miles north of Boston, and the prices people here ask on CL is absolutely ridiculous ! I did manage to get a 40B stand and a 20L stand at reasonable prices, but for the most part, people figure $10 a gallon is pretty OK ! I cruise CL every day, but in 2 years have found very few what I would call "great deals "! Have a Happy New Year !!
 
The funny thing is that they don't seem to learn that they're being ridiculous. You see the same #!@#% ads week after week. I'm sure people will be clogging that guy's email box with replies for a $75.00 5 gallon tank.

sadly they probably did pay about that much. That looks like an eclipse system tank (or something similar), which is around $50-$60. The heat was probably $20-$30, same with the gravel cleaner. Add in all the other little do-dads and you're around $150. Add in the necessarily embellishment for a CL add and you're at $200 :rofl:

Probably was a birthday gift for their 5 year old. Gold fish died and now they need to get rid of the tnak ;)

Hence why they overpaid for everything lol
 
you know the sad thing is about that is, I know people who do the same thing, buy little fish and keep the in the same tiny tank even when they get huge.
thats where brant the oscar came from, and my cousin got 2 of brant former tankmates, get this! there were 6 oscars in 200L tank all 10''+ except brant who is 14''.
sad isnt it
