The juvie German Rams, I got from Emg this morning made it home safe and sound. They didn't seam too stressed when I was adding water to the bag. Their personallity's are already sort of coming out. One hides all the time, the other hangs out in the center of the tank.

pictures.

Sorry for the crappy pics. I need to read the tutorials on taking pics of fish/tanks.

After doing some research, I took some better pics.

Wow! those are great looking fish!!!! What a cute pair...

Glad to hear they're doing OK Bawlsy ! :thm:

If you have any trouble with them or are interested in some more, let me know....if I don't have too much trouble finding homes for this batch, I may do another if mom and dad are interested...lol.

Oh, and actually, those pics didn't come out too bad....the close ups of the pair are nice and clear.

LOL...the unpaired adult female I have in the 29 layed her eggs in the corner this morning. As far as I know, they aren't fertile...as I have never seen the male showing much interest in her since he's already got a girl and hangs mostly on the other side of the tank. We'll see in a few days or sooner whether or not he made a sneak hit and run during the night...lol.

Oh, I'm sure I'll be up for another pair sooner or later. With the way your two go at it, I'm sure you'll have babies whenever I'm ready for more  :joke:

Thanks again Emg. You all should see all the babies over there. I'd have a hard time getting "rid" of them myself.

They look a bit stressed out still. That gravel won't do much for their color either. If you get the chance set them up with a tank that has playsand as a substrate. Brings out their colors very well, and they do enjoy the digging, at least the males will generally dig pits.

One of my Males, female behind him but you can't see her very well

Female while she was still in the growout tank.

Feed them good food too, a big variety. Tetra Colorbits work wonders as a staple, I feed mine those, as well as bloodworms, brineshrimp, mysis shrimp, 95% lean burger mix with vitamins and garlic mixed in (used as a BeefHeart subsititute), Minced shrimp, tubifex worms. You'll get them to grow pretty quick and they will color up super.

I have another tank cycling now. As soon as it's done, I'll transfer them over. More pics to follow in the coming days/weeks/months.
