29 gallon tank with those fish in it. This person is grrrrrr there is nothing nice enough to say that I can post without getting in trouble. :mad2:

And the prices he's asking? That can't be right!

If there is a place on Craigs list to ask the seller questions that the public can see... the best way to handle it without being "rude" is to ask this:
1. Are you warning people that if they keep those fish in that tank they will all die?
2. Have you warned everyone that ID sharks average about 3 ft long at full grown, which happens rather quickly?
3. Have you warned anyone that if they follow your advice they'll have a tank full of dead fish within the first 2 wks?

Does anyone know how to post questions there? I'd do it if I knew how but am not familiar with craigs list and how it works.
That person needs to be taken out back somewhere... that is just disgusting! Those poor fish!!!

no, I don't think there's a way to post questions, except to email the seller. Nothing visible though. Maybe someone with a big giant tank and a heart to go with it will buy the fish from the guy and beat him about the head and shoulders with a blunt object when they pick them up.

I sent him an email:
Hi there,

I just wanted to suggest you talk to some local fish stores about either selling them or giving them your fish. I think the owner of T&T Fish & Reptile might take them. He is very nice and has a great store. His number is: 281-933-3367. The store is at Hwy. 6 and Bellaire, so probably not too far from you. That tank is just WAY WAY WAY too small for those fish and they'll just end up dying if someone buys this tank from you without moving them into something much larger. It's just mean to keep these fish in a tank that small. The poor Flowerhorn can barely even turn around. I'm thinking they got bigger than you expected and that's why you're wanting to sell them? Anyway, I just wanted to email you because I think the fish would be better off going to a local store that can handle their size.
Good luck!
Annette

he'll probably just send me back some hateful email about how stupid I am, but anyway, I feel better now.

Well, he did say he would teach you how to maintain the tank for FREE, and it only takes 5 min. every two weeks..LOL, wow some people are just amazing!!!

I feel for those poor fish and whoever buys them. Hopefully someone who knows about them and has room for them will buy the tank and give them proper homes.

Perhaps we can stuff the owner into the trunk of an old toyota corolla and see how long he survives?:devil::devil:

thought you guys might like to see the response I got to my email:

you should mind ur own business and not worry about
what others can or cannot handle... i will not sell
them to the fish store.

wow.

That really sucks, Annette.:( There's nothing you can do at this point except wait until he learns his lessons if something wrong does happen.
