As of late my ludwigia repens and alt. reineckiis have been losing their leaves that are near the bottom. Now heres my question, but not the stupid one. Is this because I don't have enough light gettin to the bottom? I currently have 4 48watt, at somewhere near 6200K each, bulbs hanging over my tank. Now heres the stupid part since my tank is 36" the bulbs are 48".....so theres like 8" of light not being used? I'm planning on getting 36" bulbs soon but these were all that I could get at the time. So let me know what yall think

my tank is 24" deep and id say the light are....5-6" from the aquarium. You see they hang from my ceiling and dangle over my tank. So should I then get some light that are 36" and maybe thatll sit on the top of my tank?

Seems we have the same problem as far as lighting but technically you have double what I have as far as wattage. Mine is a 45 gal, 24in tall tank with only 96W CF lighting.
