So the doughnut thread got me thinking. More and more people move away from their hometown. After a few years you begin missing certain specific foods, be it a type, brand, or specific store/restaurant. So where are your hometown food influences/cravings from and what are they? Hopefully this might give visitors to "your town" ideas on where to eat. Being an airline employee I have been known to fly places soley for food 
I'm from 1 1/2 north of NYC, and spent a lot of time in NJ as a kid as well (lots of relatives there). My lost foods are Dunkin Donuts, NY/NJ pizza (NYC pizza but softer crust), bagels (and egg, bacon, and cheese bagel sandwiches), and fresh apple cider.
