I am starting my planning for a new 75 gallon tank with a wet//dry filter.

Trying to decide between making and buying the filter.

It would be very easy to pick up an All-Glass Aquarium Mega-Flow Tank and Sump filter and be done. Just pricey.

Thoughts on the filter itself? Looks nice, but how well does it work?

I set-up the same tank and sump you mentioned and it was almost too easy. The tank and filter are running perfectly. No problems at all.

BUT- I have heard that people have had problems with the AGA sumps (all GLASS aquariums use acrylic sumps:confused: ) bowing out at the sides. The one I set up has not done this, but I have heard about this problem a few times.

Well I have had no probs and am very happy..great water flow and filtration...I had my freind help with the plumbing and I bought a drop in wet/dry from www.aquacrylics.com great guy to deal with...I used my old 55 gallon as a sump..check out my sig..the 125g
