Got 9 Tiger Barbs. The low man on the pole has had his tail fin about nipped off. I've put him in an isolation basket for the time being. Will his tail fin regrow or is he outta luck and cursed to be slow?

I had one that got kind of beaten up and lost his tail. After some time it did come back. Just took a while.
As long as he has a little bit of tail left he should be fine. I had one who lost the entire top lobe oif his tail, and it grew back completely in a few weeks.
