It lives in a 60gal with 5 barbs, a common pleco, 6 danios, and a firemouth.

Any advice/reply would be aprciated.

Hi. The one with the bulge may be a gravid female. Choose a good male, (one with distinct red on the nose tip, dorsal and anal fins). Prepare a tank (10 gal will do) with some plants or artificial spawning media like yarn. A 3-5 gal. plastic tub (like those used for laundry) can also serve as a spawning tank. Provide aeration. Set the pair into the breeding tank late in the afternoon. Early next morning, check if the female has lost the bulge. If she did, the tiny pearl-like eggs should be scattered all over the bottom of the tank. Use a strong beam of light to see the eggs. Now, it is IMPORTANT that you remove the parents from the tank immediatel after spawning is complete, otherwise, they will eat all the eggs up. In 2-3 days, the fry will hatch. Once free swimming, you can feed BBS or yolk of hard boiled egg . Good luck.
