Time between fish additions?

Hi guys!!!

So as stated previously I am restocking my tank. a few of the pet stores I was going to get my fish from are having sales all weekend on al the fish I wanted.

My only questions is, how long do I have to wait in-between adding fish and adding more?

If I got 6 tetras on Friday, could I safely add a Dwarf Gourami on Sunday without issue? or would that be to soon and possibly upset life in the tank?

is this a new tank ? if so how did you cycle it ?

if the tank has been properly cycled, I dont think adding 1 gourami would make much difference from the 6 tetras

Its a pre existing tank, I just did a major clean on it from having neglected it. I have a few guppies in there now keeping it cycled, I did see some movement in my water tests from it, but its starting to level out again. Remind me never to neglect it again!
