Tiny Fishies?

If you can keep your tank looking like this. I am sure you would have no problem with your fish. But it takes good dedication for keeping a tank looking like this.

Thanks guys! I just discovered the Least Killifish today - it does look like the best fit (if anything will fit).

The cube does include a floating plant (from what I've read), so that might be a help.

Trickster - keeping the tank looking like that is the goal, IMO - otherwise, it would look like a wet mess and in that case, why keep it?

Anywho, I'll consider carefully (if I ever even find one of these to buy in the US) before putting any fish in it. I may just keep plants in it and put it on my desk at work - a little bit of refreshing nature in a cube, in my cube :D

Thanks,

Liz

Ok, if this thing is 2 US gallons, you might be able to keep atleast 8 in there. These fish are really tiny, and are the perfect fish for this setup. But again, they are hard to find.

I can't believe noone suggested a betta lol, they are the ultimate small tank with shrimp fish, so long as you only have one.

Thanks for the links, Slappy - I'll go and do some more looking (that's half the fun, you know).

Trickster - if the fish are hard to find, it's a perfect match as the cube is too! :-)

Thanks,

Liz
Liz,
If you are truely interested in the small guys, try this link.

Thanks, Trickster. I've linked it as a potential source for AquaCube fish (so I'll remember why, should it take forever to find a source for an aquacube).

Jerm, I was hoping for something other than a betta (if anything at all). I have a betta in a 6g and I just can't see putting one in anything smaller - regardless of what they come in - now a fish that's less than an inch long and kinda cigar shaped - that I could maybe put in a 2g.

Thanks,

Liz
