I was reading on Fenner's site that tiny Blue Girdleds are hard to keep alive in captivity. This past week one of our suppliers at the store I work at had Juvenile Blue Girdleds that any person couldn't pass up. I ordered one expecting it to come in around 2-4 inches. Well she came in at only an inch. She is SO tiny. I was just wondering what can I do to increase her chances of survival? She is in a tank with about 100lbs of live rock, which she picks at all day long. Today I went out and bought some of Julian Sprungs Red and Green dried algae, figuring this might help. She kinda picks at Formula One and Formula Two. Any help is greatly appreciated.
