Hey all.

Looking to re-home my sev. I've decided to sell the 125 gal, and don't have a home big enough for him anymore, so need to find him a new tank to live in. Currently he's stuck in a 45 gal rubbermaid tub in my bathroom, which is definitely not a permanent solution.

I'd prefer to rehome locally as I am not exactly sure how to ship live fish. I'm willing to try shipping if someone wants to pay the costs, but I'll need specific instructions, and no live arrival guarantee, as the fish itself is free.

Please PM if interested.

Thanks.

There are many threads here on shipping fish. I will also take it,if shipped...

I'm willing to try shipping. What would your prefered method be?I won't do anything longer than 2nd day, and would prefer overnight for him. He's special and I'd like to give him the best chances at making it with no issues.

I'd want to use styrofoam and I'm not sure where to find an appropriate box for this, as well as the right size bag. The fish bags I have from the LFS are all far too small for him now. So I'll do some reading later if I don't get any interest locally. Would need whoever is taking him to cover all the shipping expenses (packaging material and ship costs, etc).

Also want to know what tank he'd be in and who his tankmates would be. He's always been the biggest fish in my aquarium, but I'm sure he'd be OK with other larger fish if he's got enough room.

Thanks. :)
