I recently bought 250 linassius snails to go in my 150 gal tank see signature, But anyway i bought 250 and he sent me well over 400 snails and bringing my snail count for that species to over 450.
Will adding all those snails at once have a negative impact on my tank and if so any suggestions on water changes and the frequency?
So my question is really can you have too many snails ?
Can i put my snails in my sump?
Will the snails take food away from my other inverts?

I'm putting 150 into my 65gallon. 100 Cerths and 50 Astrea. You can have too many, it's possible for them to run out of food... put them in your tank and if you think its too much you can sell them to a LFS or trade them to someone. Before you take them out you should show me a picture of 400 snails in a tank, I think that might look neat.

Ya i took some pictures but not sure how to put them on this cite or send them. still new to the cite.
But i read on of your last posts about the cleaner shrimp mine have eggs and i was just curious if you were able to save any of the eggs and hatch them out.

Usuallycleaner shrimp will lay eggs every 2 weeks... I dont know if anyone can raise them yet. If so, I think it was like 1-2 out of 1000 so it wasn't worth the time and effort to try and raise them.

You can sign up for www.photobucket.com or many other photo hosting sites, then upload your pictures there and then you can insert them here.
