Can you have too much water flow for Angel Fish?? Have a 300 Gallon with a 1400 gph pump. Also what other fish could I keep with Angel's? Currently have Congo Tetra's

the filtration seems fine. . tank turnover of almost 5 times an hour, but will actually be less. just have to see how they do, or adjust/block flow with decor so the tank isn't a whirlpool.

angels go with plecos, cories, larger tetras (but not nippy species that might damage the fins), other peaceful cichlids (keyholes, rams, etc.). . . . really anything that doesn't fit in their mouth and won't chew their fins.

you should be fine..there will probably be some dead spots..also you can add structure to deflect the flow.

my freakin discus and angels swim in front of my nozzles in my tank..and the pump is rated at 1200 gph!

they alos like to play in front of the powerhead I have on the far side of the tank..it's comical to watch..kind of like watching kids in a water park.
