I'm just about ready to pull the trigger and buy either a

I've found Top Fin, and Perfecto in the stores, and I imagine somewhere there's a dealer near me that carries All-Glass.

I had a 30 long for many years that served me well and lasted through three moves, and 12 years of use. I finally gave it away to a friend.

So... I have a good opinion of All-Glass. I know Top Fin is Pet Smart's in house brand, and I've seen Perfecto's about town.

I assume that for the size I'm looking at, all brands are probably good, but i'm looking for some opinions of the top fin and perfecto tanks for the sake of it.

This tank will serve as my entrance back into the hobby and eventually my quarrantine tank down the road as I go 125+gallons.

I thought it might be neat to build my own small acrylic tank - but I think that's just a pipe dream.....

Was thinking of getting dwarf puffers for the new tank, or just getting some tetras of some sort.

Edit: THinking of putting natural looking gravel in it mixed with flourite to support some plants. Gotta find a decent light setup for that though.

Top Fin tanks are carried by PetSmart and are manufactered by All-Glass. So says the label on my Top Fin 55g aquarium.

Perfecto is a Marineland brand so the quality should be very respectable.
