Hi All, I have a 47 gallon reef 20x18x32H. The top of the reef needs something impressive and I was considering a torch coral. The top of the reef is approx. 12" below a 150W 1400K MH lamp. Thoughts?

that would be fine assu;ming that the coral was under Mh at the store. you should probably start it off low and move it up. but it would lvoe it under that light.
Best to place him low to start and move him up. MH is a lot morw powerful light and you can kill your coral if you are not careful.
