My three toucans (Chalceus erythrurus, yellow-finned Chalceus) are beautiful, hardy fish, and I hate to let them go. But they love my plants - and so do I. 5-6'' in size, eat anything from flakes to pellets to worms (to plants). Java fern is safe from them, but more delicte plants are not. They do not harm smaller tankmates (were together with fish as small as 1.5'').
